Balancing Your Pies and Pancakes | Hyannis Road Runners

Once you have been running consistently for a year or two, effective training requires a certain balance. It's sort of like baking a pie. If you run really hard all the time you end up with a pie that's too sweet. If you jog slowly day in and day out for months on end, you end up with a pie that's too bland and tastes like crap. All the training ingredients need to be in the proper proportion.
